Fort Stockton hasn’t had much good happen to it for a long time, but to its credit many of the older buildings have signs outlining their history. Our campground is rather stark, built in the 50s probably to house oilfield workers. We are beginning to notice an odd pattern to Texas dogs; they are unexpectedly very small. Fort Stockton does have a nice collectibles store, unfortunately (even my view) closed today, Sunday.
